Syed Abbas Moosavi, MD, is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician at Michigan Neurology Associates & PC, with offices serving the Metro Detroit area in Clinton Township, St. Clair Shores, Utica, and Westland, Michigan. Dr. Moosavi specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation and the treatment of spinal and musculoskeletal disorders, foot and ankle pain, and sports injuries.
Dr. Moosavi attended Ross University School of Medicine for his medical education. After graduating with his medical degree, he completed his post-internship training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University in New York City, serving a chief resident, before moving to Michigan to practice medicine. Today, Dr. Moosavi is affiliated with Henry Ford Hospital and St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit and practices at Michigan Neurology Associates & PC.
In his decade of experience, Dr. Moosavi has rehabilitated patients with nerve damage and chronic pain. He has also assisted in rehabilitating patients after major surgeries, as well as patients who have prosthetics. He uses the latest and most advanced methods to create personalized treatment plans with the goal of allowing every patient to live life comfortably. He has been utilizing minimally invasive techniques to help his patients as well as platelet rich plasma and bone marrow concentrate injections to provide a comprehensive approach for his patients.
