Nicole New, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in Michigan. Dr. New has training and experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. She obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Denver, her master’s degree from the University of Texas, and her bachelor’s degree from Rice University in Houston. She has worked in hospital settings with medically ill patients, residential treatment facilities, and outpatient clinical settings. Dr. New is trained to work with children and adults who have experienced trauma and those who are currently experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. She also works with couples and families who are wanting to make changes. Dr. New has expertise in conducting psychological and neuropsychological testing that can be useful in assessing adults and children for learning difficulties, Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), neuropsychological changes, behavioral difficulties, problems coping with work demands, and clarification of psychological diagnosis.
